ABOUT THE ARTWORK:
Chris’s first pro graphic features a skeleton bursting out of a jack in the box — a bold metaphor for breaking free from limitations and embracing authenticity. It represents the idea of thinking outside the box, stepping out of your comfort zone, and owning who you are. Created in collaboration with VCJ, the design captures the raw feeling of self-discovery and transformation. Chris’s hope is that his graphic invites skaters to recognize each other, spark conversations, and build community, especially for those who might feel unseen or out of place.

Unbeknownst to both Chris and Court, the graphic would take on an even deeper meaning. Court was in the middle of designing the piece when he experienced a heart attack — a shocking event that mirrored the image he was drawing: a Jack in the Box, heart at its center, radiating outward. What started as a playful idea became a raw, symbolic reflection of life’s unpredictability, and a reminder of how art, emotion, and experience are often more connected than we realize.

The Hydrant FLIGHT deck is a dialed-in, more precise version of Andy’s Vajra.

While the Vajra shape was a challenge to develop, this one came easily to Andy. Reminiscent of the original Heron shape but smaller and symmetrical, it measures 8.25″ at the waist, just under 8.5″ at the widest, and has a 14.25″ wheelbase. The square edge and slightly curved nose and tail deliver solid, stable pop, while the K26 concave and inner cuts create a front-foot pocket that makes Tre Flips and Varial Heelflips easier to flick. With its streamlined shape, pop, and responsive feel, the Hydrant shape is solid gold.

Powell Peralta – Mike Vallely Bug 10.0 Reissue Skateboard Deck

From the Powell Peralta vaults, the Vallely Bug graphic, once nearly forgotten, was initially rejected by Mike Vallely in favor of the iconic Elephant design for his debut pro model. Originally created for the Geegah shape, this unreleased gem, inspired by Sean Cliver’s Disposable, now debuts on the classic Elephant shape—a must-have piece of skateboarding history finally brought to life.

Powell Peralta Deck Hanger kits offer an affordable, straightforward solution for displaying your decks with style.

Instead of adding to landfills, we’re repurposing our Classic Powell Peralta blem decks by turning them into distinctive display pieces. Each Deck Hanger kit is carefully hand cut, sanded, drilled, and packed at our Southern California manufacturing facility, ensuring that every piece is completely unique. It’s the perfect way to showcase your favorite boards while giving others a new life.

When you order your wall hanger, it will be selected at random. Some cuts feature striking graphic placements, while others stand out in different ways. Your hanger might include elements like wheel wells, original truck holes, or even original rails, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Deck Hanger kits Include:

• One roughly 3″x3″ cut (sizes will vary) of a Classic Powell Peralta 7-ply maple skateboard deck with hand-sanded rails and pre-drilled, countersunk holes.
• Two 3″ long #10-32 black Phillips head bolts
• Two #10-32 black hex flange nuts
• Two #10-32 black acron nuts
• One #8 x 1 1/2″ black Phillips head screw
• One Fischer Duopower 5×25 conical plastic wall anchor

Assembly is required. The countersunk bolt holes are carefully designed to fit snugly, preventing any sagging under the weight of the display deck. Due to the tight fit, you may notice minor splintering on the surface of the hanger when inserting the bolts. To minimize this, we recommend using a power drill to start the assembly process. Once the bolt is anchored, finish tightening it by hand to reduce splintering and ensure the bolt is aligned properly. Misaligned bolts can make attaching your deck more difficult and increase the risk of scratching.

We recommend using a 3/16″ drill bit to install the wall screw.
